What is Educational Technology?

Educational Technology is the systematic application of technological tools, instructional strategies, and learning theories to enhance the teaching and learning process. It focuses on the design, development, implementation, management, and evaluation of educational resources and digital technologies that improve learning outcomes across all levels of education.

The discipline equips students with the knowledge and practical skills to integrate information and communication technologies (ICT), multimedia, e-learning platforms, artificial intelligence, virtual learning environments, and other innovative tools into educational practice. It also emphasizes instructional design, curriculum development, educational media production, digital assessment, and technology-enhanced classroom management.
