About the Deputy Vice Chancellor

Professor Ibrahim Olatunde Salawu is a distinguished academician, seasoned administrator, and accomplished scholar who currently serves as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor at Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo (EAUED). With a wealth of experience in higher education administration and curriculum development, Prof. Salawu plays a pivotal role in shaping the academic direction and standards of the institution.

A holder of a Ph.D. in Science Education, Professor Salawu has devoted his professional life to advancing teaching methodologies, promoting research-based learning, and fostering innovation in science and technical education. He has taught at various levels and has supervised numerous postgraduate students, contributing significantly to capacity building in the educational sector.

Before his appointment as Deputy Vice-Chancellor, he served in several key administrative and academic roles within the university system, including Dean of the Faculty of Science, Head of Department, and Member of Senate. Dr. Olatundun Oluwatoyin Oyewumi, CLN, PhD

About the University Librarian

Dr. Oyewumi is the pioneer and current University Librarian at EAUED, appointed by the Governing Council effective July 1, 2024, for a five‑year term. She holds a PhD in Library Studies from the University of Ibadan (2013), an MLS (1996), and a BA in Music from Obafemi Awolowo University. Dr. Oyewumi is a chartered librarian with the Librarian Registration Council of Nigeria and has decades of experience, including serving as Deputy University Librarian at LAUTECH and Polytechnic Librarian at OYSCATECH. Her leadership focuses on modernizing library services, integrating ICT, and supporting the university’s teaching and research mission.
