About the Library


The Adekunle Ogunmola Library is the central academic and intellectual hub of Emmanuel Alayande University of Education (EAUED), Oyo. Named in honor of Dr. Adekunle Ogunmola—a former Provost whose leadership (2000–2008) spurred major institutional growth—it supports teaching, research, and lifelong learning through extensive print and digital resources, and there is an Annex of the institution's  Library at Emmanuel Alayande University of Education of Education Isokun Campus. It provides services to:

  • Students enrolled in the joint University Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB)

  • Registered undergraduate students pursuing regular and part-time programs offered by the institution.

University Librarian, Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo. The Adekunle Ogunmola Library welcomes all users and reaffirms its commitment to supporting learning, research, and creativity. More than a collection of books, the library serves as a dynamic centre for knowledge, innovation, and intellectual growth.

In response to rapid technological change, the library has evolved into a comprehensive knowledge hub, blending physical and digital resources curated by experts. It also promotes information literacy, offering workshops, tutorials, and personalized support to help users become skilled researchers and critical thinkers.

The library invites users to explore its diverse collections, engage with its programs, and share feedback to enhance services. Together, the community can build an inclusive and vibrant environment where knowledge and aspirations thrive.

Dr. Oyewumi is a seasoned information scientist and academic administrator leading strategic initiatives that ensure the library’s services are inclusive, accessible, and aligned with the university’s research and teaching goals.
