Directorate of the Yoruba Language Proficiency Programme

The Directorate of the Yoruba Language Proficiency Programme is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and advancing the Yoruba language and culture through structured academic instruction and practical engagement. Housed within Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, the Directorate plays a strategic role in fostering linguistic excellence and cultural pride among students and the wider community.

The current and Pioneer of this directorate is Dr. Cynthia Oniyelu Adekunle a distinguished academic and cultural advocate, renowned for her contributions to Yoruba language education and cultural preservation. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree and serves as the Director of the Yoruba Language Proficiency Programme Directorate at Emmanuel Alayande University of Education (EAUED), Oyo, Nigeria.
