IBARAPA CRITICAL STAKEHOLDERS FORUM HONOURS ALAYANDE VARSITY VICE-CHANCELLOR, OLANREWAJU OLANIYAN, OYO HEAD OF SERVICE, ADENIKE FASHINA, OTHERS

The Ibarapa Critical Stakeholders Forum (ICSF) on Saturday, 22 August 2026 conferred  Distinguished Public Service Recognition Award on the Vice Chancellor, Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo, Professor Olanrewaju Olaniyan, alongside the 19th Head of Service of the Pacesetter State, Dr. Adenike Fasina, mni, incoming Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan, Professor Peter Olamakinde Olapegba and 15 other distinguished sons and daughters of Ibarapaland.

The Maiden Awards Recognition Ceremony held at Damola Hall, Eruwa, Oyo State brought together sons and daughters of Ibarapa-land as they used the occasion to celebrate the great Ibarapa men and women who are doing Ibarapa proud in their chosen careers.

In his brief comments after receiving the award, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olanrewaju Olaniyan appreciated the organisers for identifying him for recognition for the iconic award. "I am most grateful for the recognition and the award. I shall continue to cherish this award. As an Ibarapa man, I promise to always uphold the good name of Ibarapa-land, while I shall always contribute my little quotas to the development of Ibarapa-land", he submitted.
