The EAUED Model College is an integral arm of the Emmanuel Alayande University of Education (EAUED), Oyo, established to serve as a demonstration school for educational excellence and innovation. The college provides high-quality secondary education rooted in sound academic principles, moral values, and practical learning, reflecting the university's vision of holistic teacher education and youth development. As a model institution, it also functions as a laboratory school for teaching practice, educational research, and curriculum experimentation for student-teachers and researchers within EAUED.

Dr. Amoos Aderemi Ayoola is the Director of the EAUED Model College, bringing to the role a wealth of experience in education, administration, and academic leadership. As a dedicated educationist and scholar, Dr. Ayoola has played a pivotal role in strengthening the academic structure and operational efficiency of the Model College.

The EAUED Model College (often referred to as the EAUED Model High School) serves as the laboratory school for the Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo. It functions as both a standard secondary school for the community and a center where student-teachers from the university observe and practice modern teaching methods.

1. Leadership

The current Director/Principal of EAUED Model College is Dr. Amoos Aderemi Ayoola.

As a Director within the university's administrative structure, he oversees the academic and administrative operations of the college, ensuring that it maintains high standards that reflect the university's reputation as a "center of excellence" in teacher education.

2. Core Purpose and Mission

The Model College serves a dual role:

• Academic Excellence: It provides high-quality secondary education (Junior and Senior Secondary) to students, consistently aiming for top results in WAEC and NECO examinations.

• Teaching Laboratory: It acts as a "teaching clinic" where university students in the Faculty of Education can observe veteran teachers and conduct their initial micro-teaching exercises before going out for their full-year teaching practice (SIWES/TP).

3. Key Features

• Curriculum: The school follows the standard Nigerian National Curriculum but often benefits from the latest educational research and pedagogical innovations coming out of the University.

• Facilities: Being an offshoot of the university, the college has access to specialized laboratories and sporting facilities that many private or state schools might lack.

• Result Portal: The school uses a dedicated digital system (EAUED MHS Result Portal) where parents and students can track academic performance, psychomotor attributes, and affective domain developments.
