BRIEF HISTORY

The Directorate was established by the Pioner Vice Chancellor, Prof Olanrewaju Olaniyan following the transition of the defunct Emmanuel Alayande College of Education Oyo to a University . The Vice Chancellor appointed Dr Rasak Adetunji ADEFABI as the pioneer Director on September 22, 2023. The directorate is to serve as an intermediary between the University and the larger community for the purpose of engaging it for possible collaboration and cooperation locally and internationally. In doing this, the Directorate had deployed machinery to partner alumni of the institution and other stakeholders for the overall development of the University and putting it at global standard and in line with International best practices In order to carry out this mandate well, the Director evolved a standing committee of seven to constantly advice the Vice Chancellor on the actualisation of its vvision. The directorate is committed to efficient collaboration and advancement.
